Control thermostat from web interface #28
Labels
Comments
The services to control them are already there, it just needs some UI bindings. I don't have a Nest myself so it's not high on my priority list. Check the frontend development section on Home-Assistant.io, it contains documentation how to add a more info screens. You can then add a button to call the thermostat services: window.hass.serviceActions.callService("thermostat", "turn_away_mode_on");
window.hass.serviceActions.callService("thermostat", "turn_away_mode_off");
window.hass.serviceActions.callService("thermostat", "set_temperature", {temperature: 18}); |
more-info-light.html is a good starting point for a thermostat more info screen. |

Nice work with the new design for the web interface.
Are you planing to add support for controlling the thermostat from the web interface? Set target temperature and away_mode.
I tried to fix it my self, but I am not familiar with the polymer api, so I have not succeeded so far.
