Fallback preset when fx not in focus

Hi!
I'm new to realearn. I followed the instructions in the tutorial video for the focused fx and fallback preset when fx is not in focus. My problem is the volume faders/panning on my mixer moves simultaneously with the fx parameters even though the fx (reaEq) is in focus. I'm sure this is a user end error but I can't find the solution. Any help would be highly appreciated!

I deleted my preset for ReaEQ and made a new one and the problem went away.

This might be related to a bug which is fixed in 2.18.0-pre.2
