👋 hello everyone - just trying to figure out if this project is still actively maintained? The README states that it's under active development, however there haven't really been any open issues resolved since last year (with one exception), and it seems that every release made over the last two years have been single-fix releases driven by a need from another Hashi employee/product. In the meantime, the majority of open issues and PRs go years back and have no comments.
Specifically, a project I maintain with @rturner3 is blocked from updating its Vault dependency because a merged fix in this repo hasn't been released. Frustratingly, the PR was open since 2022 but was missed in March when an internal Hashi fix was submitted + accepted and a release was cut in response, containing only that fix. At the minimum, it would be great to understand the maintenance policy of this repo as it stands today, and to update the README to reflect that. And even better would be to help us get a release cut since go-plugin is currently broken on Windows 😭 at that point, I can follow up with the necessary vault dep bump
I totally understand that go-plugin is probably not the highest thing on your priority list .. just trying to get some transparency and understanding so folks know what to expect and what they're dealing with when they take a dependency on it. The current positioning feels kind of misleading ... thanks in advance for your attention on this ❤️ and please let me know if there's anything I can do to help out - happy to send a README update or something to help move it forward

Is there currently any release policy for this project? It's ok if there isn't, or if it's just best effort, only trying to understand what to expect with regards to getting bugfixes addressed etc.
