Develop an optional modern warfare-themed chess ruleset by introducing new pieces that represent modern military units and tactics. These pieces should integrate with the traditional game mechanics, offering fresh strategic dimensions while maintaining game balance.

These new pieces—Tank, Commando, Missile Launcher, and Fighter Jet—modernize the classic game of chess by introducing elements reflective of modern military tactics and technology. Each piece offers unique abilities and strategic opportunities, enriching the game with fresh dynamics while maintaining the core principles of chess.
