I am passionate about writing. A lot. I started with articles, features and a book as a journalist, an occupation I exercised over the past 14 years. Now life has taken my to the coding path - which at the end of the day is also all about writing clearly and concisely, isn't it?
Combining my excitement for reading and researching along with my newfound passion of coding I turned the words written by Sandi Metz in Practial Object-Oriented Design in Ruby on programmers as a sort of mantra to live by:
We want to do our best work. We want our work to have meaning. We want to have fun along the way.
- π I hold a MA in International Relations from King's College London and a Journalism BA from PUC-SP
- π I'm a Le Wagon alumni (i.e.: I dive into the unknown with intensity and get s**t done)
- π I strongly believe practice makes perfect (yet treat your text editor and books with kindness)
- π Aside from taking over the world (Pinky and the Brain feelings), my goal is to become a better backend developer
- πΈ I play the guitar (proud owner of an Ibanez JS900 signed by Joe Satriani himself after I interviewed him!)
- πΈ I like to drink. A lot (meaning I'm a beer sommelier and also a cocktail enthusiast - drink less and drink better!)
