In this PR I'm merging the mimir-distributed-release-5.6 branch to main branch. Please merge this PR using a merge commit or by using tools/release/merge-approved-pr-branch-to-main.sh script.

Relates to #10151

🔥 I think there is a small typo in the changelog. But we can fix that later and backport it to the release-branch separately.

We don't release the final chart version with the RC of Mimir, do we? 🙈
