Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Sort of, the docker logging driver is great in many cases, however there are a few cases where it struggles, and leveraging promtail would help:

Describe the solution you'd like

If the driver could send directly to promtail then we can leverage promtail for addressing the issues above a little easier.
