Unable to configure integration because "The Verification Code was not correct." during account setup

Version: 3.1.4.4; new never before used (ie not migrating).
Issue: Unable to configure integration because "The Verification Code was not correct." <- Attempted many times with the same code in both "xxxxxx" and "xxx xxx" formats.

Before installing, did remove the core iCloud integration.

After initial failure tried:

• Manually removing the configuration files. Removing the integration (from Configurations and HACS) and reinstalled it.
• Removing all the configuration details from the integration config menus.

Attempts to generate a "new" code request (after initial code request was received) failed to generate any new codes.

I reset the log file before attempt to retry (after clearing the configuration details via the UI), so it might be a little shorter then you're expecting. Some details "redacted"

I have similar issue...
i use a fresh install icloud3 v3 3.1.4.4 (first time ever install)

i even cannot add my apple account --> Could not log into the Apple Account, Invalid Username or Password
i created a specific password for icloud3 v3 (tested wit 2 specific password meanwhile), but i never logs in.

This does not use application passwords, it must be your icloud password. That's an Apple thing.

OK, tired with my apple password (got a feeling about this)
BUT: now i'm stuck.
whatever i try.. i never get a verification code.
Even this REQUEST NEW APPLE ACCOUNT VERIFICATION CODE never gives me a code (on my iMAC or on my iPhone)

Already restarted my HA - tried Safari, tried Chrome....

just silence...

We've all got a feeling about that but it's Apple that's making that call. Devs hands are tied.

There's a few threads on here about not getting the verification code. I forget what @gcobb321 says is the path forward there.

my apple account is working fine, not locked or blocked etc.
So, no need to change my strong password, right ?!?!
