Describe the bug
In prior versions, a Windows notification popup-slide out from the right side would occur when changing playback devices.
To test, I reinstalled version 1.1.27.0 which restored the pop-up/slide out notification when changing playback devices.
When reinstalling the current version 1.1.28.0, pop up/slide out notification fails to display.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to '...'
  2. Click on '....'

  4. Select ' shift+control+W to change playback device or use try icon to change playback device.'
  5. See error

a Windows notification popup-slide out from the right side showing the currently selected Playback Device.
