Follow-on from #125.

This is a bit expansive, but the state of testing on this project should be sort audited.

To-do:

Come up with overview of what should be tested given how the project is set up now
Compare what is already built with this vision
Add or remove tests to get it closer in line
Suggest follow-up ticket(s) as necessary to get more testing. (i.e. test Coverage)
