# Working with Bookmarks in Extended Mode (Bookmarks Ribbon)

> In Librera, you can display an extended bookmarks bar (Ribbon bookmarks) on the reading screen. It serves for the function of quickly adding a bookmark, switching between bookmarks.
> You can make **Librera** display your bookmarks on screen at all times while reading a book. They will be shown across the top of the screen in a so-called _Bookmarks Ribbon_. This extended bookmark mode should come in handy when you need to add new bookmarks or switch between them in an instant.

* Click the Bookmark icon in the upper right corner of the screen
* Select " Add " bookmark
* Make a comment to the bookmark, from this comment the bookmark will be assigned a name. In this example, the comment " first bookmark"

A bookmark will be added in the bookmarks window, and on top, in the extended bookmarks bar (Ribbon bookmarks). Now, if you want to go to this tab, just click on it from the top, in the panel, while reading. If you want to edit it, make a long tap on the bookmark in the bookmarks window, the edit window will appear. Also, if you have a lot of bookmarks, you can swipe on the extended bookmarks bar (Ribbon bookmarks) to move them to the left or right.
Your new bookmark will appear in the _Bookmarks_ window, and at the same time you will see it in the _Bookmarks Ribbon_ on top. Now, in order to go back to this bookmark, you just need to tap on it in the Ribbon.

* A "Quick bookmark" will be created. It will be given a name-page number. If you go to the bookmarks window you will see a Quick bookmark with the name - 15. "Quick bookmark". When you long-click on a bookmark in the bookmarks window, the window of editing, deleting it will pop up.

* Long tap on the bookmark icon in the upper right corner-adds a quick bookmark
* A long tap on the name of the bookmark, in the extended bookmarks bar (Ribbon bookmarks), will prompt you to delete it.
> You can bypass some operations when adding or deleting bookmarks by using the _Bookmarks Ribbon_:
* A long-press on the bookmark floater in the top right corner will add a quick bookmark.
* A long-press on a bookmark in the _Bookmarks Ribbon_ will open a prompt suggesting you to delete it.
