I think you'll be pleased with my new approach, which is minimal and focused on repairing only definite errors.

Two notes:

• You refer to Appendix A several times, but it's not a link. Ought it be?
• It might be worth mentioning hyperfine along with temci -- i use it often

Yes, but AFAIR, I had problems with automating such places. I need somehow to distinguish Appendix from other book sections. Each appendix is an unnumbered chapter. I didn't figure out a quick solution in Markdown. If you know, you're more than welcome to provide a fix.
