Create semantic syntax for my latex source files.

Different files

dakling.sty: contains the macros. Can be seen as a system-wide configuration valid for all Latex projects. Put this into your LaTeX path (e.g. /usr/share/texmf/...)
definLocalExample.tex: contains project-specific settings, should be present in every LaTeX project directory. Alternatively, you can just put the stuff in there into the header.
example.tex: not really needed, just shows some examples to simplify understanding what the macros do

step by step

git clone https://www.github.com/dakling/latex_macros
copy the file definLocalExample.tex to your project directory (maybe rename it to definLocal.tex) or directly into the header of the main document
put dakling.sty into the LaTeX path
put \usepackage{dakling} into your main LaTeX source document

design principles

frequently used commands have short names to decrease typing effort and keep the latex source short
less frequently used commands have more expressive names
commands with short names have to be documented using comments in dakling.sty
