Find a better TypeScript solution

Problem: The js files are being spewed into the same folder as the tsx files causing file bloat.

Currently looking at vercel/next.js#2250 for possible solutions.

Here's the boilerplate posted in that post.

I plan on looking at the difference between the two.

Went with the boilerplate solution and merged with master.
