Support team lead review

support on keybase - 200 BSQ

@FKrauss, could you say something about how you arrived at this number? It's not that it seems too high, I would just like to get a sense of how current support agents are thinking about valuing their work. Thanks.

So the 200 BSQ is sort of arbitrary. It demanded more work then the usual telegram channel management I've done a lot in the past (which consists mostly in helping out new users with their questions about bisq and how to use it properly).

In total, from the cases Leo and I tracked in our shared spreadsheet I count 7 cases solved. 1 is still open.

@FKrauss could you clarify the 100 BSQ number for analytics maintainer? Did you do work aside from writing the report? If so, could please you detail it?

I want to make sure we're setting good precedents for future requests, and I also want to improve my understanding for budgeting purposes.

There is some regular work in the following:

  • monitoring the traffic
  • checking sources
  • labeling important events for future reference (podcast appearances, version launches, important website updates and so on)

But I would say the report, in particular the recommendations that came with it are the main piece of work and value.

And I do agree that there's little value to doing all this labeling and monitoring if there's nothing happening. For example: there's no point in keeping track of our bounce rate if we're not doing anything to affect it.

So for budgeting purposes, there is a small cost of keeping the analytics set up tidy and clean, but the true value and cost/work comes from running actual experiments and figuring out how to affect particular metrics. Running actual experiments imply me running them myself or "consulting" whoever is gonna run one experiment on how we could measure it's impact in the website

@FKrauss ok, good to go on my end.

@cbeams it looks like you were ok with the request but didn't explicitly indicate approval. Should FKrauss file in the DAO?
