CMS updates for Transport Permit #18859
Comments
@LizGovierdo you know if the text above in the description is the latest and approved, and who would make the updates in test. |
@lbergero819 the text in the user interface (application) is drafted by designers and reviewed by policy before we start work on a development ticket. This work is to review the text on the CMS site and would be done by the BA's. I'd recommend reviewing the Transport Permit in test first, and leveraging any existing wording from the application in TEST if possible. Let me know if you have questions. cc @arlentees |
Checked with Sharon the text from the description and she proposed further updates and to add text about tax certificates being requested. Sharon is reviewing the updates and will send them back. We will need to let Policy know about the updates before posting in CMS bcreg.ca |
@arlentees @mstanton1 CMS updates reviewed with Sharon and attached are the updates: |
Thanks for sharing this @lbergero819 . @arlentees if you feel there is content that requires policy review that would be the next step. Since this aligns well with the application though, I'd feel comfortable moving along without. Generally with forms Megan Fedora and Sinead O'Callaghan provide approval. @MeganFedora for CMS updates do you want to review / approve as well. Should those also go to Sinead? |
@mstanton1 I can review and approve website changes without Sinead. Is this ready for final review and approval? |
@MeganFedora , yes, I've reviewed the changes with @lbergero819, this is ready for final review and approval |
@lbergero819 @MeganFedora, @arlentees, Based on discussion yesterday with Policy, Sharon and I have reviewed a paragraph for the CMS text, see below and the doc attached with updates. Updated FROM: TO: |
Thank you, I like this phrasing more. Approved. @arlentees @lbergero819 |
@fareenr do you have other CMS content you want to post at the same time as this update. When does this update can be posted. |
@lbergero819 yes, the MHR Search section and Transport Permit sections can be updated at the same time. |
@arlentees Approved CMS change for transport permit to be published at the same time than CMS MHR Search updates from Fareen above. |
2023 02 22 Updates for Buy, sell or move a manufactured home/moving are complete. Please review the QA page and advise if it can be published. https://www2.qa.gov.bc.ca/gov/content/housing-tenancy/owning-a-home/manufactured-home-registry Regards, Judy |
@lbergero819 Please review and approve the updates to the moving a home section updates in QA asap, as this is blocking the MHR webpage updates for qualified suppliers. I cannot open the word document to see the original changes you requested. Thank you. |
Hi Louise, I'm sorry, but I can't follow your edits above. #1 For Search, you link to a ticket, but it is closed (May 2020) and isn't about this work. Please update the MHR Search webpage updates - Feb 2024 file you created https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Ixm7wlBa1coyoXJBENmE_ZRSwJHdcAlg5XxGJidDOZs/edit so I can accurately capture the edits. Please link to that file in this ticket instead of in a different ticket. #2 for a link - the existing link on the published page is a dead link. The image you provided won't open for me. Please provide me with the exact link to exactly where you want to go. If you want to open a specific form, please provide the name of the form and its URL link. I have to continue to push forward on the updates to the MHR page, so will publish what we have. I will add your edits to the upcoming ones and they will be published with the others on 29 Feb, or after that if you aren't quite ready. |
HI Judy,
The corresponding ticket in digital delivery work space is 3595 – can you please check the comments I posted this morning regarding the CMS updates for the section “moving”
Please let me know if you have further questions
Thanks
Louise

Review 'Buy, sell or move a manufactured home' section and identify any changes required. It should be clear on this site what to do if you do not move your home after requesting a transport permit or if you move your home to a different location.
