syncVerse is a browser extension that synchronizes the lyrics of the currently playing song with a canvas element, creating a visually appealing display. It also includes a picture-in-picture (PiP) feature to show the lyrics overlaid on top of other applications.
- Real-time Lyric Synchronization: syncVerse automatically fetches the lyrics of the currently playing song and synchronizes them with the audio, ensuring an immersive experience.
- Canvas Display: The lyrics are elegantly displayed on a canvas element, allowing for customizable visual effects and animations.
- Picture-in-Picture (PiP) Mode: syncVerse provides a PiP mode that allows you to overlay the lyrics on top of other applications, making it easy to follow along while multitasking.
To install syncVerse, follow these steps:
- Download the latest release from the syncVerse GitHub repository.
- Unzip the downloaded file to a directory of your choice.
- Open your browser's extension settings.
- Enable developer mode.
- Click on "Load unpacked" and select the directory where you unzipped the extension.
- syncVerse should now be installed and ready to use.
syncVerse is compatible with the following browsers and platforms:
- Google Chrome: Fully supported.
- Microsoft Edge: Fully supported.
- Chrome-based Browsers: Such as Brave and Opera, fully supported.
- Mozilla Firefox: Not supported due to lack of native Picture-in-Picture (PiP) support.
syncVerse supports the following music streaming services:
- Spotify
- Deezer
- YouTube Music
- (more services will be added in the future)
If you wish to add support for a new streaming service, feel free to make a request.
Once syncVerse is installed, follow these steps to use it:
- Play a song on your preferred music streaming platform.
- Click on the syncVerse icon, located near the next and previous buttons.
- Enjoy the song with synchronized lyrics!
