I still get passing tests with Beta 3 and 4 so I'm going to merge this even though the job didn't run in CI. I'll monitor the job for the next few PRs. |

I noticed that the
macos-latestimage on GH has updated their Xcode 16 beta version to16A5202i(beta 3). That reminded me of the very weird unit test failures I was getting on Xcode 16 beta 1 and 2 in my PR #417; I made a note to revisit this once the GH image had been updated to beta 3 because I could simulate the CI failures locally with 1 and 2 but 3 passed all tests as expected.
