In my case, element.prop('clientWidth') is always 0, making the tabsWidth negative and shouldPaginate true. Is there something I should be doing when defining my tabs to make sure the clientWidth is not 0?

When using the tabs, they always think the pagination is needed at first, even if I only have on tab in there and it fits just fine. I traced the problem to line 45 in pagination.js: https://github.com/angular/material/blob/master/src/components/tabs/js/pagination.js#L45
