Much of the work for this course will involve software development. Your software projects will be done in groups and maintained through this repository. These wiki pages should serve as a useful resource for getting started. Before you begin work, you should check out the Software Installation wiki for guidance on what software you will need and installation instructions for your OS. A more detailed discussion of the various software options can be found in our Software Overview, which may also provide a useful reference if you run into any confusion or complications while installing/running these tools.

Once you have completed the necessary software installations, you should go check each of these pages and the resources they provide to ensure you are fully familiar with the various software tools you will be using.
