Describe the bug
Somebody had linked to a new community but accidentally while linking the community, they used all lower case letters (!football@lemm.ee) when the community actually has a the first letter as upper case (!Football@lemm.ee). Both 'links' pointed to the same community but the hamburger menu could be opened only in when accessing from the 'proper' link. In the other case, the hamburger menu was grayed out.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Go to https://discuss.tchncs.de/comment/15639884
  2. Click on !football@lemm.ee, you will not be able to access the hamburger menu to subscribe, etc.
  3. Click on !Football@lemm.ee, you will be able sent to the same community feed and everything (including the hamburger menu) will function as normal.
  4. This behavior is not observed with lemmy-ui or photon which allowed subscribing, etc. when opened from either link.

Expected behavior
Behavior should be identical to lemmy-ui and photon.
