Menu visibility

I don't know if this is intentional or not, but on Windows 7, none of the menu bar items are visible until mouse-over. That part is not so much an issue, what is the issue is what happens after they are highlighted:

Once highlighted, they remain visible until certain actions occur - such as changing the active document - then they disappear again, except the top pixel of the letters are still visible.

@dajester2013 Have you customized the window border thickness or appearance, or installed any sort of window-theming app? If so then this is a duplicate of known issue #6801

Ok, yes, this is a duplicate issue - I modified the window border thickness. I did try to do a quick search, but Github's search let me down.
