This script is designed to enhance your web privacy by clearing cookies, changing the user agent, and rotating IP address in Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Brave Browser. It also provides a suggestion for preventing canvas fingerprinting.
These instructions will get you a copy of the project up and running on your local machine for development and testing purposes.
You need to have bash, sqlite3, and ProtonVPN installed on your system to run this script. If not installed, you can install them using the following commands:
sudo apt-get install bash
sudo apt-get install sqlite3
sudo apt-get install protonvpn
Clone the repository to your local machine:
git clone https://github.com/TopChainBoy/WebFrootprintRotater.git
Navigate to the project directory:
cd WebFrootprintRotater
Make the script executable:
chmod +x webFrootprintRotater.sh
The script can be run with the following command:
./webFrootprintRotater.sh
The script will check if Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Brave Browser directories exist in your system. If they do, it will clear cookies and change the user agent for these browsers. It also checks if ProtonVPN is installed and if so, it will rotate the IP address.
