I confirm this issue is not an exploit. (Required)
BYOND Version
515.1641
Issue Description
You can pick up many things with the borg gripper. Cells are one such thing. You can grab them, hold them, drop them, even put them in machines where they're part of the recipe (ie, borg rechargers, SMES, etc). However, anything that actually takes them in a slot (APCs, cell chargers) doesn't let you stick them in. You just bap it uselessly with the gripper.
What did you expect to happen?
I expected to be able to put cells in APCs with my gripper so I can build or fix them.
What happened instead?
I could not do that, and the cell remaining in my gripper as I uselessly bapped the APC.
Why is this bad/What are the consequences?
It prevents Engiborgs from being able to build APCs, fix APCs, and other such APC-related tasks. This makes Biohazards (which love breaking APCs) something that Engiborgs can do even less about.
Steps to reproduce the issue.
Unlock an APC, crowbar it open, take the cell out with your gripper. Fail to put it back in.
Go to Robotics, take a cell from near or inside the cell recharger. Fail to put the cell in the cell recharger.
When did the problem start happening?
Within the past day or so, I remember repairing an APC without any issues last night (January the 25th around 4 AM or so) when a Biohazard broke it.
