I was gonna submit my own attempt at this, but yours is much better :D

I like it very much, but I think the corners could be less rounded I guess. It doesent need to bring so much from the original icon, and could be more like the gnome-console or gnome-terminal papirus icons (in terms of shape).
The inner part is perfect! Love the ghost, love the colors.

It is true that this one is fancier, but it can't exist in a vacuum, ignoring the other Papirus icons. It stood out too much from the rest of the terminals.

Consistency is of critical value to such a big icon pack as Papirus. Constructive critique from @gbitd only strengthened my own opinion on this matter.

Yeah, i see the reason for the more minimalistic choice on the new version and i 100% agree with this take, just wondering if it couldn't maybe be an alt version for those willing to use this design over the default flatter one
