I've forgot to mention in #2835 that eqonomize! has its own mimetype for the .eqn files. Although not a big request but this can simply be fixed by symlinking the apps/eqonomize.svg to mimetypes/application-x-eqonomize.svg or, if desired, giving it another design that contains the basic file design plus the eqonomize! logo, much like the application-x-blender file.
