Calibre already has a fantastic icon, however it also installs a number of other apps that would benefit greatly from their own icons.

The names of the apps it installs are:

  • E-book view
  • E-book editor
  • LRF viewer

Icon names:

  • E-book editor: com.calibre_ebook.calibre.ebook-edit
  • E-book viewer: com.calibre_ebook.calibre.ebook-viewer
  • LRF viewer: com.calibre_ebook.calibre.lrfviewer

Here is a screenshot of the current Calibre icon with the other apps it installs:

Sorry, I should have put them on the initial request.

Icon names:

  • E-book editor: com.calibre_ebook.calibre.ebook-edit
  • E-book viewer: com.calibre_ebook.calibre.ebook-viewer
  • LRF viewer: com.calibre_ebook.calibre.lrfviewer

hm... it's strange why this not applied for lrfviewer, because com.calibre_ebook.calibre.lrfviewer icon already exist:

I just double checked the .desktop file that it creates for the LRF viewer and it appears to use com.calibre_ebook.calibre.ebook-viewer instead. I assume that would be why the icon isn't applying.
