WHAT THIS DO

Adds the XM6N Null Knife - a knife with antimagic properties - and puts it in the HoS locker.

WHY IT'S GOOD FOR THE GAME

The Mu sector has a lot of magic users, so lore-wise it makes sense for forces foreign to the area to get some countermeasures to help maintain a balance of power against mages in the area.

This is also just another tool in the toolbox for use when designing characters, e.g. ERTs, Inspectors/Inquisitors, or others.

BALANCING

  • Compared to survival knife: +2 dmg (for one less hit to crit against no armor), -5 throw dmg, otherwise identical combat-wise
  • Compared to null rod: Cannot remove runes, otherwise identical utility-wise
  • Future plans may involve a HoS/Security requisitions slip/special weapons beacon to prevent roundstart weapons bloat, maybe we just move the compact shotty to the warden locker
  • For now per discussions this should be OK though
