How to auto-generate embed previews for links?

I've just recently started messing around with this Python package.

I'm wondering if there's a way to automatically generate an embed preview, similar to what show's in this post:

I was able to use the Link Card send_embed and auto_hyperlinks examples to get close, but it doesn't include a preview.

Examining the output for that linked post I think it's because my embed is missing a thumb=BlobRef..., but I'm unsure if there's a way to build that on the fly.

Ahh, I looked at that but honestly wasn't sure what ogp was.

Looks like at least my first test is hitting a 403 blocked from Reddit, I'll have to dig into this a bit. Thanks!

Related question: is it possible to embed both an image and a thumbnail? My attempt at this results in no images, just the thumbnail.

Yes. Look at example 3 here: https://github.com/MarshalX/atproto/blob/main/examples/advanced_usage/send_embed.py. Just replace embed post to embed external from example 2

At first glance, I'm not sure this does what I'm looking for which is to have an embedded site preview along with other images, all in the same post, but I'll give it a shot.
