Impossible to close a project

When using QmapShack, I tried to close all the project but there is still a project that I cannot Close. Note that there is a *S in front of the project I want to close. Either, it is a bug or it is not well documented because I did not find how to solve the problem.
All other project I created can close correctly but this one remains for ever.

I would like to be able to close this project.

The S means you have checked Automatic syncronize with device for that project.
Try to uncheck that option, and then close the project

Exactly. Projects that are automatically synced to a device can't be closed until the option is disabled. The idea is to have a folder with data you always want to have on your device and you do not want to close it accidentally.

The only irritating glitch is that the "Close" action is not disabled.

The menu entry "Close" will be fixed with the PR. Feel free to test.

Answer fully satisfactory. After applying the recommandation (not synchronise the device), I was able to close the project normally.
