Hello there! I'm Jason, your friendly neighborhood software engineer from the foggy city of San Francisco, California. My tech toolkit includes React, Python, Typescript, Ruby, Ruby on Rails, and JavaScript, but I'm continuously working to expand my skillset to stay up to date with the most relevant tech stacks.
My career kicked off in finance and operations. But I've always been interested in coding. So, I took the leap and swapped financial forecasts and operations schedules for coding sprints and debugging sessions, enrolling in an intense, six-month coding bootcamp where I immersed myself in the craft of creating web applications that users love to interact with. Since completing the bootcamp, I've had the privilege of interning at several startups and collaborating with talented engineers on various projects.
As I look ahead, I'm excited to dive into a junior software engineering role where I can keep stretching my skills and learning new ones. I'm also open to freelance gigs and love the idea of collaborating with other developers on inspiring projects.
