+Really cool Yemeni coffee shop. They have tons of specialty **spiced coffees** and teas. On the food side, I got a spinach fatayer (triangle pastry) which was only ok. But they had this **pistachio pomegranate log dessert** like a turkish delight which was incredible, and I hate desserts. Make sure you ask which options are vegan, a lot of the desserts (like the baklava) are not.

+Nice Malaysian place with a bunch of vegan options. We got the **char koay teow** and **salt and pepper eggplant** which were really good. Other stuff was ok.

+Excellent **biang biang noodles**. Got the plain garlic one with added tofu and spicy pickled veg. Also the **black fungus** was really good.

+Paid like $24 bucks, but without add ons and an appetizer it'd be like $17.

+Nice old school Vietnamese place. **Veggie pho** was better than just salty water, and the **Crepe** was pretty good too. They ended up serving it wish fish sauce even though I asked for them to leave it out, so maybe try be adamant about that.

+Excellent Chinese restaurant, on par with [Wojia](/places/wojia-hunan-cuisine). We got a whole bunch of crap including **tan tan noodles** (that they could make vegan), **mapo tofu**, **eggplant**, lots of other stuff too.
+
+We got too much food but you could get out under $20 a head including tips and tax.

+Great taco and beer spot, my coworkers haven't shut up about it since I moved to the bay. They have a selection of vegan tacos for about $7 each after tips and tax, the best was the **broccoli taco**, damn it was good.
