Bob,
I added some tests in the RemoteOverlay store branch and decided I should flip the order of params in the validate method to match those in the signeUrl method. Also found an issue with the all null params case.
The PR has fixes. It should have no effect on anything you're doing (but will get you synced with #7325's changes).
