Replace data (mapping table) filter
The Replace data (mapping table) filter is similar to the Replace data filter, except that it uses an external replacement map to make multiple text replacements in a single step.

URL of the external mapping table: (required) the URL of the HXL dataset containing the mapping table. Note that you can use the HDX, Dropbox, and Google Drive choosers to pick an existing file.
Replace only in rows matching this query: a row query limiting the rows where replacement will take place.

You can maintain a Google Sheet or Dropbox spreadsheet as an asset for data cleaning, and collect common errors or replacements there. The HXL Proxy can repeat those fixes automatically every time a new dataset arrives, so that you're not constantly making the same changes in new versions of datasets.
