[Request]: Show profile (switcher) in compact mode

Describe the request

I would love to have an option to show the current profile / profile switcher button also in compact mode, maybe next to the sidebar toggle button (if there is enough space)

It was part of the mockups https://gitlab.gnome.org/Teams/Design/other-app-mockups/-/blob/master/tuba/tuba.png but you also noticed there's some unresolved issues with it.

2. Where does the sidebar go

In the mockup, the menu has moved to the right of the main window and the sidebar toggle has been replaced by the account switcher. So where does the sidebar go?

I did ask about it when the design revamps were going on #228 (comment) but there was no clear answer. The main experiment would be moving the sidebar items to the menu but since then the menu has already become too crowded and moving the items there would make the UX worse.

My other idea was to replace the sidebar toggle button with the account switcher one but let it open the sidebar instead of the account switcher. That'd look better but is not obvious on what it does at first glance :/

2 buttons feels excessive and can feel crowded in views like the notifications one that has other buttons

I like the mockups and also the screenshots in #228 (comment) - I feel like all of them have enough space to add the profile switcher next to the menu button (either side, though I think right side makes the most sense). As for the screenshot embedded in your comment - That is why I suggest to only show it if there is enough space between the sidebar and home button? But also the Buttons could be made smaller if the text was removed completely (I personally hate truncated text anyways, but that is a different topic :D)
