Hi, you listed our article from the Modelica conference, however we published also an article detailing the use of PDEModelica: PDEModelica1: a Modelica language extension for partial differential equations implemented in OpenModelica https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/02286203.2017.1404417
This effort has been actually recently tested in OpenModelica and still runs fine. Is there an area, where our approach is not satisfactory for your use?
Let me know.
Best,
Filip

Dear @filip-jezek My aplogies for not getting back to this earlier. I am just recently learning to get my head around the GitHub massive amount of notifs.
Regarding your new paper, I have not updated this repo for a long time. feel free to fork it and take over the development. I'm no Modelica expert by any means. Maybe in the future I will also get back to the project and try to update it but no promises.
