The color mask is connected and technically working, but the mouth isn't darkened, issue starts at the green detail step of the material setup.
Lowering the green detail fixes it but also creates weird black lines around the mouth

The black lines was an issue with the card's textures.
I see now that the green detail will always overlap with the mouth interior, but a possible solution to prevent that is setting up a color ramp after the separate colors node something along the lines of this, so it wont target the inside of the mouth.
Hastily applied to the shader, plugging the color ramp (with just white and black colors, not grays) into mix node as a factor
