Checking user component was overwriting the method parameter with the same name `$user`.
Fix all places where `$user` was confused with `$userComponent`

Recent changes (here) introduced that bug. The newly added
$uservariable for checking ifUsercomponent is of the right type overwrites the parameter to the method with the same name.
