Thanks @dabail10, this looks fine. I will wait for the travis checks to pass then merge.

I see you found an error in the hobart intel compiler setting. Does this fix the hobart intel problems? Very sad if that was the problem all along!

I did, but I don't know that that causes the problem. I figured it was memory on hobart. I don't think it uses ICE_MACHINE_COMPILER for anything? It is just generic intel, gnu, nag in all the configurations? Anyhow, izumi has 48 cores per node (where hobart has 24) and should be better.
