Who Got Scott Walker's Donors?

This repository contains data and code to track where Scott Walker's donors gave to after Walker dropped out of the presidential race. The findings support the October 16, 2015 BuzzFeed News article, "So Where Did Scott Walker’s Donors Go After He Dropped Out?"

Data

The data comes from candidates' official campaign committees' July and October quarterly filings with the Federal Election Commission.

Reproducing the Findings

The findings should be entirely reproducible via this Jupyter/IPython notebook. Requirements: OSX/Linux running Python 3.
