Twitter preview not working #102
Comments
Hey @osujedi-99 The thing you have circled in the screenshot there is not the link preview, it's the Character counter. The preview will likely not unfurl until after the post is live on X. |
Hi Ben
Actually, the links were not unfurling after the post is live.
I might have circled the wrong thing, but the link preview wasn't
displaying.

Interesting! I just tested on this article of your site, and I am seeing the preview even before posting: So then I went to the article from your screenshot above, to test. It also works: That rules out a wider problem and points to either Twitter/X putting some sort of limit on your particular account, or some caching on your browser maybe? A lot of times if you've visited the site before that particular article had To confirm that, try it in a different browser or different machine and see if the preview works. If you get me a spot where the problem is reproducible, I can have a deeper look! |
Sidenote: great use of copy in those callouts. made me want to go read the article in both cases. 😄 |
Hi, we have a problem recently. The click to tweet function seems to be working, but the link previews are not when I go to the Twitter site. Any idea what might be causing that? When I go to the twitter composer, the link preview sort of hangs.
Any idea what might be causing that?
