Restify API Generator

Yeoman generator for creating a basic boilerplate restify based RESTful API. Powered by Node and MongoDb with https and CORS.

It uses NPM scripts as a task runner, ESLint for code linting and Mocha/Chai as test framework.

The app is a Procfile-based application powered by foreman.

Prerequisites

• Node - Download and install node.js
• MongoDB - Download and install MongoDB - You'll need mongoDB to be installed and have the mongod process running.

Installation

First, install Yeoman and generator-restify-api using npm.

npm install -g yo
npm install -g generator-restify-api

Then generate your new project:

yo restify-api
