Timeline for implementing PIM APIs (iteration 3) in Az PowerShell?

Hi all

Iteration 3 of the PIM APIs (i.e. making eligible role assigments through the ARM REST endpoint instead of the Graph REST endpoint) is currently in beta and can be found here:

Is there a timeline for when I'll be able to do things like creating new Microsoft.Authorization/roleEligibilityScheduleRequests natively through Az PowerShell?

At the moment, it can only be done through the REST APIs or through ARM/Bicep templates.

For now, I'm creating my own custom PS functions that are "wrappers" around the REST APIs but it would be nice to know if official cmdlets for configuring PIM assignments are on the horizon! 😊

We have faced unexpected delays in testing the new cmdlets and we hope to be able to release the module soon.
