Nasa Picture Of the Day SITE: Visit Here

The simple site allows you to get the Nasa picture/video of the day as well as get the picture/video from any date picked. The site uses Nasa APOD API to achieve that. It also stores your previous searched date data in your browser's local storage. You can check out the site here. Go ahead input your date of birth XD unless your born before June 1995, well then you are older than the API sorry :p

Purpose:

The purpose was to build a simple project using Nasa APIs and polish my skills while working with APIs.

Lessons Learned:

Always make sure you fully understand the API before using it. This API may be named picture of the day but once in a while Nasa also shares a video instead of a picture. I had to later add in the functionality incase a video link is received.
