- Github account
Go to https://lead.asknet.community/ and click on "Add Profile" in the navigation menu, or scroll down to the "Create new profile" section.
To change your profile, you need an account on the website github.com .
Click on "Sign in to GitHub".
If you have an account already, fill in your data in (1) and click on "Sign in".
If you don't, click on (2) and follow the instructions.
Go to the LEAD website (as in Step 2), and go to "Create new profile" section. Click on "Create a new profile".
Important: If you are using a Smartphone: Please make sure to access the link via your web-browser, not via the Github App! The feature that is used for creating this profile doesn't work on the github app yet (unfortunately). You should see a form with several input fields, as shown in the picture below. If this is not the case for you or if you are not sure, the best way is to temporarily deinstall the GitHub App.
In order to inform that you don't want a new profile, but to update one, change the title: type "Update Profile for Your Name" instead of "Create Profile for ....". Writing the name of the profile to be updated is important, otherwise it can't be processed.
The form includes all fields that make up the profile. Since you just want to change 1 or a few of them, you don't need to fill them all. Only fill the fields that you want to be updated. E.g. if you have a different phone number now, type it in the according field. If you want to change something in your description text, copy your old text and make your changes. If you want to upload a new picture, follow the according step in the "Add New Profile" how-to.
As you can see, some of the input fields have a red star * next to them, meaning they can't be empty. If the existing content shall remain, just type "unchanged" into them.
Scroll to the bottom of the page and click "Submit new issue".
