Support Locale::TextDomain 1.20 #184
Milestone
Comments
Since CentOS already has several dependencies that require installation from CPAN I think that it is acceptable to also install Locale::TextDomain from CPAN for CentOS instead of doing some work-around. |
@mattias-p, is this still an issue? |
I guess we can close it when we drop CentOS 7. |

Zonemaster Engine requires Locale::TextDomain >= 1.20 while Zonemaster CLI requires Locale::TextDomain >= 1.23. Locale::TextDomain 1.20 is packaged on CentOS 7 (as perl-libintl).
Engine contains a workaround that enables it to support Locale::TextDomain 1.20. Because CLI does not contain this workaround, we don't really benefit from the efforts made in Engine. The workaround should be included in CLI to make all components support Locale::TextDomain 1.20.
