while the RDS standard encourages use of RadioText fields for track info and other dynamic data, not all recievers support this field.

It would be frowned upon to dynamically update the Program Service Name field, but it is double the length of the RadioText, so for some events such as Radiothon, updating the message to say "Radiothon, Donate now!" instead of "Radio for Everyone" (our static text after the callsign), may be handy. We should add provisions for this.
