Cannot install webpack-cli

when running yarn add webpack-cli -D

Similar error with npm install webpack-cli

C:\Program Files\Git\cmd\git.EXE ls-remote -h -t ssh://git@github.com/ev1stensberg/generator.git

ssh: Could not resolve hostname github.com: Name or service not known
fatal: Could not read from remote repository.

Most corporate networks don't allow ssh, so this will never work. I'll revert to webpack-cli 2.0.9 until this is fixed.
