Adding streaming tool outputs, and adding an output without a response

Hi there, is there any way to stream tool outputs to the messages array so we can render them? If we call setMessages or addToolResult it will just ask the model again.

Similarly, but separately, is there a way to add a tool result without triggering an API call? If a user says no to running a tool, we don't want the model to keep trying, or provide any response to it, for that matter
