Test failures on Intel Mac

Jim Warren obtained these errors when testing out a new installation on his Intel MacBook Pro.

• All tests presently pass on a Mac with a http://www.ctcms.nist.gov/fipy/macosx-installation.html#binary-installation binary installation.
  • There are four remaining failures on a Mac with a [http://www.ctcms.nist.gov/fipy/macosx-installation.html#fink-installation fink installation](actually hybrid: fink Python, but manually compiled NumPy and SciPy) (build:509).
  • Two of these have been filed as issue SciPy 0.7.0 solver failures on Macs #148
  • The other two also fail on Windows (build:507) are probably related to issue Examples can be very fragile with respect to floating point #127
